It is a .32 Safety Hammerless, possibly a 3rd model. Without a S/N or larger pictures that's about the best I can do.
This is a .32 Safety Hammerless, 3rd model, S/N 22493X. For your comparison purposes.

Where would he find the S/N.......

On the bottom of the grip frame, the rear of the cylinder, on the top latch, between the ears of the barrel frame where the latch is, and on the inside of the right grip.

S/N is 1370xx, looked up in my Standard Catalog, believe it's a 2nd model 1902-09.........Thanks
