Got some epoxy on a blade, quickly wiped it down with some rubbing alcohol but can still see it on there. anyway to clean this up before I present this knife to my father?

nevermind, after what was most likely a deadly combination of chemicals, acetone worked. haha :p

Acetone!
Wrap the blade with painters tape before your next glue up.
I make a few knives now and then

ill post up pictures after it settles. this was my first attempt ever. Wanted it to look rustic looking so just drilled out a piece of deer antler, made some cuts on it and inserted a blade into it. it actually looks pretty decent! Next time may go with a finger guard though.

If you are near Roanoke, I might just fix you up with a 440 stainless blank, hardened to 56 Rc in a vacuum furnace, for your next project.

VINEGAR If there is a NEXT time.

Vinegar cleans unset resins up easily.

Nest time you are using the resin, try some vinegar on the left over unset mixture. Then you will be see how well it works.
