I just recentley purchased a 6906 and after i have put enough rounds threw it to feel comfortable for ever day carry i plan to start carrying but I am having a hard time finding a holster for it. i like the CB super tuck or milt sparks but it looks like they do not make a holster for the model 6906.Any info would be appreciated.

Any info would be appreciated.

The S&W family starting from the 39 on just about all use the same dimensions on the slide. Some may be longer, the .45 series are a tad wider, and now several have a rail under the dust cover. So, many will interchange and fit well.

If your looking for a duty/processional/daily use holster, by all means get the best.

But if your like most of us occasional users, the used market is a good place to start.

I just picked a couple holsters on ebay for a new(to me) CS9.

One was a Safariland 070 1495, duty rig for the 59xx family.

Another was a Bianchi 13H holster that can be belted mounted or attached to a shoulder harness.

The last one was a IWB for a J frame.

I also own other holsters for Colt 1911, Glock, and S&W(j,k,n) frames that do double duty.

The only problem I have had lately was the new CS9 and the double safety lever. It's a bit fat and one of the 59xx holsters thumb catch can't snap. I plan to send the CS9 to the PC for a tune and single sided lever.

Net Net, use you imagination.

eBay has discounted new and deep-discounted use holsters. If you have a local gun show even better. A little searching can turn up opportunities..

I have about a doz pistols & revolvers, probably 2 doz holsters. Most are multi-use, with the exception being my little NAA .22 mag and most times I don't bother with the holster for it.

Good Luck...

I carry my 6906 in three different holsters, Don Hume JIT slide #28R, a Don Hume Copy II #40-3" originally made for a 908, and a Bianchi Model 100 size 11.

Don Hume Model H715 for this kid. It is actually made for a 4 inch, but the 6906 fits it just fine, and IWB, the extra 1/2 inch doesn't make much difference. Price was right.

Regards.

Mine rides in a #3 Kramer......outstanding holster in all regards. Give Greg a call or check his website kramerleather.com
Might work for you as well..........
