Looking for input, I have a 5" CORE, M&P9C and a Shield. I want a 4.25" M&P9 and can't decide on which. I'm slightly leaning toward a pro series, but I can't make up my mind.

It has to be a 9mm? why not a 45acp? what's the purpose HD, range toy? I have two FS in 9mm (Range toy), 45 acp (HD) and my carry piece is the shield 9mm. I Want a CORE only to mount an optic , but If already had a core and a MP9c I don't see the need of a 4.25 in 9mm other than being a M&P fan or a collector just my opinion, on a second thought the FS9mm 4.25 is probably my favorite, already had a 4.5 PRO and a 9c. I also have a shield 45 on my shopping list, decisions...

Let me confuse you a bit more..:) !! sorry I just love gun porn.

The M&P 9mm Pro Series CORE with the Vortex Venom Red dot has been great!! Very accurate and no issues.

Go for the M&P 9 range and carry kit, I think the extras are more than worth it. But if not, then go for the ported Performance Center with the extra threaded barrel, just my two cents.

Bob98366 asks the right Q. I have a 5" CORE and a Shield...the former for competition fun, the latter for EDC. I like them both very much, but I like them even better since I Apex trigger jobbed them. I attended a MAG40 class last summer, and too many 1911 folks were choking time away with with jams, FTE/FTF....and a smart young woman finally said to a complaining dude..."maybe time to get a Glock?" Same could be said for M&P...they just run. Have fun!

For carry or sport? For sport go with the performance center. Love mine. shoots very accurate with stock sites and eats anything I feed it.
