Help needed with old 39 date of production...

This is at my LGS for $500 out the door

Mint condition no dash, serial # 7914. I'm thinking mid to late 1950's, but I know some of you are very good with this sort of thing. Any help is appreciated! Thank you

Just the gun and one mag, but still a great deal. GB auction would bring a lot more.

Mr. bc, its a very nice early 4digit Mod-39. Late 1950s. I collect 4digit 39s and I would jump on that one for $500. Once you get it, post some pics of the mag. Mike

I am fortunate to own a very high condition no-dash and it's likely from around 1962 or so, much higher number than this one being discussed (31xxx) but it's got an aura about it.


It's been years now that I've owned it and yes, still have never shot it. I don't think I will shoot it, and yeah, I love having it.
