Hi I have a 5 screw S&W K22 that has a cylinder that is really
stiff to Open. The Pistol shots fine and seem to loosen up somewhat
after shooting it. It think it gummed up. How do I take the cylinder
a pivot point out?
Thanks for any info

Thank You Sir for the info. Done as You said and cleans the Old
build up of crud and it works Perfectly. This K22 is quite old with
# 15xxx and single line Made in U.S.A.

You should post some pictures of your K-22 in the 1896-1960 forum. There are a lot of K-22 nuts that hang out there (me included) that would love to see it. We especially like the 5 screw models!

I also have a K22 with a serial number close to yours (15xxx). They may not be new, but these guns shoot. Let's see a picture of yours.
