I recently put a beautiful model 27-2 3" on layaway thinking I would trade up from my equally nice 686-3. However, I'm having 2nd thoughts about letting the 686 go. I'm needing to sell either my 4" 686-3 in perfect condition but no box, or a 617-6 10-shot .22lr. I love both but need to part with one of them. I shoot the 617 much more and it is most accurate .22 revolver I've ever owned. However, the 686 is most accurate .357 I've owned and it just feels like a gun should. I have a buyer for the 686 but not sure I'm going to commit to selling yet until I'm certain. Do I need two nice .357's or should I be frugal and let one go? I can probably replace the 617 easier as its not a pre-lock. Please help, thx!
