The Lyman T-Mag is also a good solid turret press.

But I would pass on all of the above in favor of the Lee Classic Turret press. Come to think of it, after trying the RCBS, Lyman, and Redding, I did pass on them...

In favor of the Classic Turret!!!!

The Dillon Basic Loader 550 is sort of like a turret press. That's a good start to a memberhip in Team Blue for as entry level as you can get with them besides the Square Deal which is a true progressive press with auto indexing. But the BL550 can be used nice and slow to one day eventually be upgraded to the full bells and whistles RL550 to include a case feeder I think.

And since I've said this much I should also tell you to go look at the Hornady LNL AP. You can load one at a time with it if all you do is put in one case and run it through each station by itself.

Loading slow and steady is up to you really. You can still get sloppy and make mistakes even with a single stage.

And last, I assume you have either already been loading or if you are brand new then you have read up on this hobby by reading a few of the front sections in loading manuals or even better have read "The ABC's of Reloading" already?

I spoke with the chief engineer for RCBS last week. He told me we won't see any turret or progressive RCBS presses for six to nine months as they are not on their production schedule right now. They are concentrating on items for which they are holding a lot of back-orders and those presses aren't one of those items.

From what I'm seeing and hearing you may have to place an order, get in line with the rest and wait.
I know some people don't like to wait on anything but my wise old mother alway's told me " patience is a virtue" whatever that was supposed to mean. Usually it meant I had to wait for whatever it was I wanted.
Put your order in now and avoid more lost time.
