Need help in finding RCBS turret press. Been looking for a month all on back order. Thanks to all
Thanks to all for the info. I am loading with a lee classic now just not that happy with it. Maybe its just to old like me lol It gives me a hard time powder drop an cycle not working right know matter how times I adjust it.The Lyman T-Mag is also a good solid turret press.
But I would pass on all of the above in favor of the Lee Classic Turret press. Come to think of it, after trying the RCBS, Lyman, and Redding, I did pass on them...
In favor of the Classic Turret!!!!
The Dillon Basic Loader 550 is sort of like a turret press. That's a good start to a memberhip in Team Blue for as entry level as you can get with them besides the Square Deal which is a true progressive press with auto indexing. But the BL550 can be used nice and slow to one day eventually be upgraded to the full bells and whistles RL550 to include a case feeder I think.
And since I've said this much I should also tell you to go look at the Hornady LNL AP. You can load one at a time with it if all you do is put in one case and run it through each station by itself.
Loading slow and steady is up to you really. You can still get sloppy and make mistakes even with a single stage.
And last, I assume you have either already been loading or if you are brand new then you have read up on this hobby by reading a few of the front sections in loading manuals or even better have read "The ABC's of Reloading" already?
Unless you're absolutely stuck on RCBS , the Redding T - 7 is a hell of a turret press .
