Help with 10-6 year made?

I'm fostering a 10-6 that was an old service revolver for a LEO. Couldn't resist it at LGS...shot it yesterday and it's very good. Needs some love with spot rust, etc.

Any idea what year...serial number on butt C915xxx.

1966 or 1967. Probably 67.

I'd have to go along with that. I've been researching the "C" prefix as well as I just bought a Model 10-5 s/n C928xxx.

I know that C853141 shipped in May of 1966 and C981245 shipped in Oct 1967.

So 1967 is a good bet.
