I have a Heiser holster, model number 423.
This holster is about 9 and 3/4 inches long and about
3.5 inches wide.

On the back are the letters OLO and O-22.
Can anyone tell me what this holster fits?

Thanks in advance for any information you can give
me on this holster.

OLO may be OLD, although I'm not coming up with anything for O- 22. Your holster was made after WW II as that style snap was used then. Obviously whatever it was made for has adjustable rear sights as it was ordered with a sewn in sight protector. The pistol also had a large barrel, like a Match Target Woodsman. Sorry I couldn't come up with a meaning for O-22.

Building on Turnerriver's comments, I too think it is for a heavy barrel target pistol. High Standard made an Olympic model in .22 caliber. Just a guess, but maybe that is what is meant by O-22?

I just Googled High Standard Olympic Model and found the O was the first Olympic model. The marking is G-22 not O-22
