Here I am again....asking for help with another LGS find.
This time I found a Model 36 no dash. This has a 3" pinned barrel, Flat latch cylinder release, round butt with original looking checkered wood stocks (unable to look at SN).
Model 36 stamped on the crane along with assy number 89XXX.
Serial number on the bottom of the grip frame is 2032XX.
The bluing is consistent, no sign of holster wear but there is minor "freckling" (not rust if you know what I mean).
I found this photo on GB of a similar 36 (except rubber grips), SN 215XXX, claiming it was 1961.
Asking price LGS gave me was $400.
Any of your info and opinions is appreciated once again.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the action, lockup & trigger were excellent.
