i am in need of putting a value on a S&W knife collection that was my fathers.
They are from the mid to late 70's and i believe are the 6000 series Sportsmans knives.

and does anyone know if this is the complete collection or are some missing?

The collection is missing models 6010,6020,6030,6070, and 6080 of the Sportsman's series. There is also a "Collector's Series" within the Sportsman line that is not cited in your inventory numbers. Values for these knives can be estimated by researching eBay sales for the different models, however I would estimate total value of the knives listed, as a collection, to be around $900 - $1200. Collectors are usually seeking individual models to add to their collections, which can make for a slow selling period to sell all of them, however if you can set a fair price individually and list them all on the Forum for sale section, you will have the attention of several thousand S&W collectors here. my father gave my brother this same collection but his i think would be worth a lot more as every one of them were misprinted 'mith & Wesson' with all of them missing the S
