Help with shipping dates

I'm looking at two different S&W model 60 .357s. Can someone help me with the shipping dates of serial numbers DKE4816 and DPP6838?

Most of us that can and do flip out dates quickly are just digging them out of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson by Supica & Nahas, currently in it’s 4th Edition.

However the triple alpha serial numbers are notoriously difficult and erratic. With DKE and DPP, it is likely that these are more modern, post-2000 guns.

The good news is that S&W is very good with the modern ones and they will give you specific dates for both of them via e-mail right from their website.

I called S&W service and they provided the ship dates right over the phone. Great service.
