So i just got a new glock 40 and took it to my granpas to show him and he show me an old (old) 32 caliber revolver and i was wondering if theres anybody that can help me identify the year that it was manufactured. I found some nubers on the bottom of the handle and the read as follows: 332076. If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum.

First of all, is it a Smith & Wesson? It should be marked "Smith & Wesson, Springfield Mass" on the barrel.

Next, does the cylinder swing out to the side or does the barrel hinge downward (these are called topbreaks).

Please give us all of the markings that you see.

Pictures would help a lot!

Is the gun a top-break, or a hand-ejector model ( cylinder swings out
to the side ) ?

How old is your Grandad ? Maybe the gun is only 60 - 70 years old.
