help!

My brand new Model 67-5 cylinder is locked up and won't release. Was working fine but then slowly it was getting sticky and then today locked tight. Have only put 50 rounds thru it. Thankfully there are no live rounds in the cylinder. Suggestions?

Check and make sure that the ejector rod has not unscrewed and causing the binding.

Ejector rod and remember it has reverse threads

I had a similar issue with a Model 19 when I first became a member of the Forum.

I would suggest searching the board here because there are certain do's and dont's when tightening the rod. The information that I found here helped me do it the correct way.

I purchased a tool to help tighten the rod on K frames from Brownells to make the process easier and safer.
