Hi Point Article in NRA Rifleman

I have never actually seen one.
The next time I am at a gun show running pass tables of black autos, I may stop and look at one.

I've bought some good guns cheap, but won't buy a plain cheap gun.

All the ones I've seen that stopped working just needed a clean and lube.

Was having issues with my 995 carbine. Sent it back by way of LGS. In 2 weeks I received back what I thought was a new rifle. My LGS said their customer service is the best. For a low end firearm they are great shooters and warranty is outstanding. I have a firearms trust and I love shooting that open sights little carbine in 9mm.
I bought one just because it fired 9mm's and I wanted to
consolidate my ammo usage, first few times it worked
and shot great , after about a few hundred rounds I was
cleaning it and noticed a bulge in the barrel ,not good.
Sent it back to the factory and about 2 weeks later got it back
and it has been ok. The customer service is pretty good, they even
send a detailed description of what they did to repair it
I occasionally get a stove pipe but it may be my reloads, OAL
it likes them on the shorter side .

On the plus side: My 995ts is a hoot! It's as accurate as I can see with it - 2" groups at 25-50 yards. Which is as good as I can shoot anything with open sights.

I've shot it rapid fire with reloads all day long. Never even one issue.

On the minus side; the action is difficult to break down - in fact I'm not even sure it can be broken down. Some day, if it ever seizes up or something, maybe I'll try to break it down. Until then I just clean the action and barrel and it keeps on shooting - flawlessly - thousands of rounds.
