Hints of new M&Ps pistols coming...

Will this be the gun to replace my Kel-Tec P11? I doubt it... would be hard to give up 10+1 rounds. However, it may take the place of the Charter Arms Undercover in the wife's purse, especially if it bites less than either the CA or my P11. She's deadly with the CA but doesn't enjoy shooting it and she really doesn't like shooting the P11.

All I can say is that I am interested in a pocket size 9.
AND
I'm happy with my M&P's.
So......

I look forward to examining the new Shield in St. Louis next weekend. If it's anywhere near the size of my Beretta Nano I'll be impressed. There will be a lot more info about this new offering a week from now.

One of the best rants I've read in a while. I would say though, that you shouldn't hold back. ;)

GaryS I see alot of people buying guns that look cool not ones that are controllable for newer shooters. Makes me want to help them all out somehow. I wonder about the length of service for polymer frames. Doesnt it age? I personally dont know how good any of them are. Glock grip angle feels funny XD seems like a High Power, M&P feels like part of my hand. Its just there. I still like ductile malleable and lusterous Metal. New pic does look cool!

I have an M&P9c, which I'm considering selling. I like it, but it doesn't really fill a need. I have 3rd generation 9mm semis in all five sizes, so I have a lot of choices for carry or range shooting. Right now it seems like a lot of people are selling their M&Ps for something else.

Hopefully I'll get to see and maybe even shoot the new Shield on Thursday in Springfield.

I found the same pic on another forum - undoctored, or maybe the whole thing is a photoshop job for all I know but here is the version with 'the hand' ...for scale/

I'd have to see more photos with more angles and some size/weight specs. 1st image.... I'm underwhelmed. I'm still not convinced the above pic isn't a photoshop job.

I'm hoping the price point is right around $350 street. That would make my day.

Depending on exactly how big it is, and how it feels in my hand, I'd MAYBE be interested.

I just bought a Kimber Solo, maybe a month ago, and if I lay it on top of my BG380, it is the same size, except a little thicker.
