Hit the Walmart Jackpot

I finally found this elusive ammo for $19.97,at one of the many Walmarts in my area, a real good deal. They had 10 boxes, due to low funds I only bought 8 boxes. I will probably regret not getting the last 2. This Walmart did not have a limit on purchase either. You should have seen the look on girls face who opened case. I just kept pulling them out.

I called my local WalMart again, and none in stock, I asked when they expect more and the lady scanned it and said , "It shows we have two in stock now. Oh, here they are, they were behind some other ammo!"

I asked if she could hold it, she said no, so I asked her to tuck it behind the other ammo again and I'm on my way!!!! :D

My local wally world finally had tons of ammo in stock. I went haywire. Lol. 1300 rounds of 9mm different brands, and 2000 rounds of .22lr. The cashier guy said, "I like when people come in and stock up like this."

I dug up this old thread for a reason:

Going to Walmart and clearing the shelves ain't nothing new.

Good chit! I found 300 rounds in my return trip to Oklahoma today. I'll have the app on going back to Missouri tomorrow .

I haven't bothered looking for ammo at any Walmart due to the stupidity, so I'm guessing since you guys are buying that much at once that they've lifted the box limit nation wide?

I was in a Walmart once a long time ago, it reminded me of a visit to a stockyard when I was a kid:eek:. I've never been tempted to go back.

Only ammo I found at the WM within 30 miles of me lately has been 2 boxes of 9mm and 2 hundred count of 40S&W and 3 boxes of 50 count 40S&W. So I bought them and I didn't even own those caliber handguns. Turned into a good reason to go firearm shopping. Got a 9mm figured I needed one for the rest of the group now looking for a 40S&W full size have enough compacts for now. Makes ya feel like Christmas all year round when you buy a new firearm, why wait. Still wondering what the deal is on .22 nowhere to be found.

Just got back from Walmart, nothing but a few boxes of .410 shells with a sign that still says there's a 3 box limit.

When folks no longer have money to buy ammo for guns they do not even own, then and ONLY then will the silliness of ammo poverty end.

Went to Wallyworld this AM and found .22LR, 25, .380, .38, .357, .40, .45, among some other rifle cartridges and shotgun rounds. I proudly walked away with one box of .380. It isn't that hard to do. 3 box limit.

This post is from 2012 for those who didn't notice. Driving thru Oklahoma the past few days I got my 9mm stock back up so I can shoot again.
