Hobbies you pick up as you age

I picked up a late in life lover......her name is Wine......white,cheap and very dry. No matter what I do she doesn't nag..........sits right next to me and rarely makes a sound...............kinda like a good dog but with taste!!

Always been into shooting sports, nothing new there. Always been in Motorcycles, nothing new there, except maybe getting involved in the Patriot Guard, escorting fallon heros. Protecting them from protesters with my straight piped Harley,

Always fished, still do.

I guess my best old age hobby, which I enjoy more then any of them is chasing my Granddaughters Volleyball and Basketball team all over the state, Never missed one of her games. I may cut back on food and other necessaries but I'll still find a way to put gas in the tank to take in her games. The whole team, including the coach call me Grandpa, I love it.

Well, if you're talking about NEW hobbies, I've gotten into rock hounding and lapidary down at the RV resort in AZ. (Not snowbirding, yet -- just getting ready). Went to a new rock shop down there a couple of weeks ago when we were closing up the place anfter renting it for the winter, and bought a nice piece of coprolite for the grand sons. Cut some flats on it and polished it up real nice so they can put it on their desks. When I gave it to them, I told them they had to lick it for good luck. After they each gave it a good lick, I told them what coprolite is -- petrified dinosaur poop! They loved it!

Collecting expensive things, automatic watches, fountain pens, they seem to multiply like Smith & Wesson Revolvers:D

I'm 53 and last year I started fly fishing, (although I've been fishing all my life) and 2 months ago I took up golf. Both I said I would never do. And @ 4 years ago I started drinking bourbon. I wonder whats next?

At 53 it is probably NOT going to be wild women.:)

Well body building and wt lifting has been something I have been returning to after a 4 year layoff. I am 50 this year and take ing up shooting has been my newest hobby.

Competitive shooting was my hobby for many years, but I've lost interest the past few years. I hadn't played a musical instrument since high school, but took it up again several years after retiring. I play by ear and for my own enjoyment only. I started reading more (about a book a month). My Kindle, which I've had for about 10 months, has really made reading more enjoyable for me. I don't suffer fools as easily as I used to, but that was my job, not my hobby.

cigars & younger women....my wife doesn't really like either one! :D ha ha ha

actually, i've got back into shooting again and still like going for rides on the harley. Getting alot more tattoo work done & trying to stay active, work out, etc...
