Hey, talk to Ray Corey on here...He just made me an awsome custom holster for around $50.00...He is very very nice to deal with and does great work. His AKA is: lobogunleather
He is a forum member and you will be supporting one of our own..THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME...

I use this one for my 4" 586 and love it. You can find them on eBay regularly.

I make holsters for all L-frame models. Glad to hear from forum members anytime.

Hi Ray,
I am glad to see you got your website up an running....

Just so you guys know I had Ray make the Avenger holster that is on his website for me. It is awsome It holds the revolver really close to your body and is very very comfortable. He also made a custom speedloader holder for me. Ray's holsters are of the highest quality and work great. might chec out his site and shoot him an e-mail.

BY THE WAY I HAD RAY MAKE THE HOLSTER AND SPEEDLOADER HOLDER FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT USE. SO I WEAR HIS STUFF 10-12 HOURS A DAY...

Thanks again Ray....

I just had Ray make me a Tom Threeperson holster for my 586 6". Light tan, thumb break, lined. Wonderful. Cost Wonderful, Production Time Wonderful, Communication Wonderful. In case you can't tell I think his work is excellent.

speedloaders for the colt python will also work for the l-frame guns if you can't find any labeled for l-frames.

If you get speedloaders go with the safariland comp II for carry or comp III for competition. These are alot better than the HKS. I found them on "cheaper than dirt"

Simply rugged in Alaska,he has a website Under that name. Rob makes a dandy called the sourdough for the 586,686. HKS makes speedloaders to. And Galco makes nice holsters to.

Depends on what you are you going to use it for. Will this be for sport use? USPSA or IPSC competition? CCW? There are hundreds of holster makers out there and either make or will make just what you want. You just need to determine how you plan to use it.

AE Nelson still makes the Hunter design holsters like the one Blacksky is showing here. They will make them in any size you like for any handgun with either open or closed bottom. I have ordered two from them; one for my 4" L frames and one for my 4" N frames. I like to use them on military web belts for field use; just my preference. Very high quality and a bit nostalgic.
