HOLSTER BEAUTY CONTEST?

Two more long shot candidates for the beauty contest. Both in the
authentic Tom Threeperson's tradition. Bucheimer-Clark Rebel model 98
on the left, and Bucheimer Federal Man model 570 on the right. Both
made for Colt's SAA with 5.5" barrel. Both show with my replica with
4.75" barrel.

Rebel with Haugen belt, Sharp's Bowie, and Stetson Open Road.

Federal Man with Pro-Rider belt, Schrade knife, and Boonie hat.

That is a beauty Larry. Thanks for pulling this old thread up. There is a
lot of beautiful holsters here. I particularly like the carved examples.
I'm still trying to learn the difference in the two most prominent styles.
Mexican style and Sheridan style.

The only guide I have to go by is the flower. In the Mexican style, the
California poppy is the flower. It has 4 petals. On the left below.
The Sheridan style uses the 5 petal wild rose. On the right below.

I would like to see some carved holsters, clearly showing the flower,
and what style you believe it is, and why.

2nd from left is a Myres example of Mexican style.
3rd from left is a Sparks example of Sheridan style.

Hopefully you can see the holster in this . The picture was actually of the gun but I don't have a separate picture of the holster. This one is carried a lot in rough country , it does clean up nice with a dose of Blackrock. :D
