Holster for 66 Snubbie - what do you use?

I like my strong pancake holster for my darker cousin to your gun,,,,,,,,,,,

Another vote for the Simply Rugged sourdough pancake holster, with the optional belt straps you can go from OWB to IWB. I have a whole bunch of Simply Rugged stuff and the quality and price is spot on.

A quest nylon or similar, but only if it has an outside loop. High, tight, and out of site. When the light bulb went off and I started looping through the outside it made holster selection a joy.

Copied this from an earlier thread, this is an excellent holster for the 66 2 1/2":

This is the gun (66 no dash, 2 1/2") I was issued when I was assigned to plainclothes duty, and I carried it in this holster for years. I have several of these holsters, the others are lined, this one isn't.

Best Regards, Les

For IWB for me there is only one holster, which are the FIST ultra-thin Kydex models.

Leather holsters, by comparison, seriously add to the guns bulk. A FIST kydex holster adds literally nothing dimensionally to the gun. They are rigid enough to protect you from the sharp edges of the gun and again, give some light retention (which you can easily adjust to be less or more retention) nd they add absolutely no bulk to the gun. For open carry I'll use leather. For IWB I find that using a leather holster actually requires slightly looser pants, while the Kydex one doesn't add enough bulk to require anything but loosening up the belt by one notch--no different than sticking a gun in your waistband. I suspect that once you go to the ultra thin Kydex, you'll never go back.

Been packing that piece, or it's SW cousins, for nearly 45 years everywhere and every day. Been using a Bianchi #6, AIWB. Not fancy, but it works for me.
