I just bought a S&W model 25-13 . Has a 4 inch barrel. Cal 45 long colt.
And I am looking for a right hand holster out side for the belt

Are you looking for a field holster or a concealment holster?

There are a lot of makers out there that can do both.

I use Mike Taurisano of http://www.taurisholsters.com/index.cfm for my revolver holster needs. He will make you what you want, in a reasonable amount of time and at a good price.

You can also get holsters from any of the major makers, such as Milt Sparks, El Paso Saddlery reasonably easy.

Further down the chain you can go with Uncle Mikes nylon or someone elses in that type of holster.

If this is your first excursion into holster buying, take your time picking one out. That will keep your box of unused holsters small.

Hume has the best holster for the lowest price. Go to their site.
The holster I like best is the H 721 OT. I have several of them and use them constantly for my K, L, and N frame guns.

The OT stands for open top, but the holster is also available with thumb break.

Check out Mernickle Holsters. This one holds 4" N frames very nicely, they even make right handed holsters,on occasion!

Try an Andrews Saddle style. I carry a S&W 22 TR .45 ACP 4" in one every now and then. Extremely comfortable, I've carried in it for 8-10 hours on a couple occasions without any discomfort.

Hi Guys
I want to thank all of you for your help. I will check out all the web sites you sent.
I want a belt holster for carrying when I go out. Not for carrying in the field.I use Winchester super x 45 colt 225 Gr. silvertip HP Personal protection.
