I have a 4" PC945 I'd like to start carrying but I need a holster for it. Short of handing it over to a custom maker for molding, is there a leather IWB holster that fits this model, or at least fits it "well enough?" I know that my 1911 rigs don't work but perhaps a similarly sized Smith auto holster would? My local shop is cleaned out so I have few holsters to test fit. Any feedback is appreciated.

You might want to look at Kramer handgun Leather IWB #2 or#3. I have an IWB #2 that I carry my 945 33/4 inch in and it works well for me! However there is a 5-7 week wait while they manufacture your holster
Good Luck!

I have both Black Hills and Kramer paddle holsters made for the 4" 945. I carry my 3.75" in one and my 4" in the other with the option of switching without any problem. You will not notice the 1/4 inch difference when carrying the 3.75" in either. Rudy at Black Hills is the owner and will talk to you personally.

I really like that the Black Hills holsters are modeled with the 945 in them. That instills a lot of confidence when ordering a holster for a rare handgun.
I do also like Kramer leather a lot so I'm looking at holsters from both makers.

Have any of you tried the BHMR holster from Black Hills? http://www.bhlstore.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1009
I really like the looks of it and the usefulness for CCW use, but it doesn't seem like it would be very well supported during normal human movement such as walking or sitting/standing. The only attachment point is the leather strap and the strap is only connected to the holster at the bottom. I realize this makes it tuckable, but I am wondering how stable the holstered gun will ride?
