Gop members in the Colorado State House and Senate have introduced eight bills regarding concealed carry,magazine bans and background checks.
The bill regarding concealed carry permits,if allowed,would make Colorado only the sixth State to not require a permit for concealed carry.The opposition to this bill is that LEOs wouldn't be able to distinguish lawful gunowners from the felons.We all know that criminals are as law abiding as the rest of us.LOL!!The other bills are basically repeals of laws passed in 2013.
I doubt that any of these bills will make it to the floor for a vote because of the Democratic majority held in both the House and Senate.They will be killed in committee because if voted on individually there are some Democrats who would likely side with Republicans on at least some of the issues.
This nibbling away at our 2nd Amendment rights has got to be stopped.The 2014 midterms might prove to be the most important elections ever for Colorado.
