Has anyone used the Hornady LEVERevolution ammo in .35
Remington caliber?? I have a Remington 760 pump rifle and
was considering using it next deer season. Would like to
know if anyone has used it and what you think about it. Any
problems as far as feeding from the magazine, grouping, etc?

My sister in law used it in her Rem 760. It shoots very accurate.
She killed a bobcat with it, and a deer.

Her husband killed a pig with it as well.
It is a good choice for a 35 IMHO.

I can't speak to that cartridge/caliber/rifle combination, however, Hornady has always been my "go to" bullet supplier when hand loading for hunting applications. It as always performed spectacularly and I will always use it.

have shot it in a marlin and it reduces the recoil immensely. i recommend it to anyone that doesnt want to get beat up by a .35. it shoots awesome groups too, much better than any round noser will or could ever do. buy a box you wont be dissappointed

It was accurate in my Remington Model 14,,I had a portion of a box from somewhere that I tried to use up in the rifle but had to single load it.
The special soft rubber/plastic tips on the bullets wouldn't allow the rounds to be loaded thru the loading port. Kept canting the bullet/round to the side as they were pushed into the tube.
Made for some good brass though.

since the release of this ammo most gun companies have made an extension to help with that problem. I cant remember exactly what it was but it is something attainable. our marlin's and a winchester had no problem feeding these. (30/30 .35rem)

Now that you mention it, I do recall some gizmo-thingy was made available to make life good with this ammo. A follower with a centered indent for the point to follow maybe.

Don't know about the Rem14 as after the first round they're supposed to go offset anyway but not so far as to jam in the tube.
Anyway,,,
I was just shooting up the rest of the box to get a full box of brass to reload.
200gr jacketed soft points and IMR3031 powder seem to work well, as do 158gr LSWC over 8.5gr of RedDot.

Don't know about that caliber, but the .45-70 brass is shorter than normal to handle the polymer tip. Shoots great in the .45-70 for sure.
