last weekend was 15 degrees cooler here, but my father was sick so had to go see him in Lake Havasu AZ. He went home this morning and is doing well. I spent yesterday and half of today installing a mitsubishi Mr Slim inverter type split system wall unit in our master bedroom. No more need to sleep in the family room in the summer heat to stay cool. This is our second unit of this type, last spring I had help from a co-worker who is an HVAC expert, we installed a 24,000 btu system in the family room. This time I did the whole install by myself; well I did have the wife with me for moral support. These are nice quiet money saving units. No affiliation, just a great product.

I hope your Dad is doing well.I can't sleep in a hot house.Here its 80 at night and 90+ during the day.Humid as a rain forest.
It reached 117 degrees in Phoenix today, breaking the old record of 116 for this date. Air conditioning is the glue that holds the city together in the summer. I'm already yearning for October.
