How about an SD9 or SW9VE Compact

I like the grip on the Sigma so if there's a compact Sigma I'd buy it in a heartbeat. 3.5" barrel and 10 round double stack mag will do it. :D

EDIT: in 9mm of course.

compact SD9 or SW9VE wont happen and glock 26 isnt the answer
smith and wesson have MP9c,40c,45c and MP shield in 9mm and soon 40sw

though a Smith & Wesson Sigma in 45acp would be good idea for S&W to do

I thought the Sigma line was being phased out anyhow. Why would they make new product for it?

That's pretty cool...but it would be interesting to see both the SD9 and your SD9c together. It would make it easier to make a comparison.

I just bought a Ruger LC9 today, and while I haven't gone to the range with it, it feels very good in the hand, and the trigger is smooth. S&W needs to come out with something similar.

They did. Its called the Shield.

no signs the sigma line is being phased out the SD line got canned for whatever reason.
forgot S&W also has the 380 bodyguard for compact pistols.
Sigma line sells strong at its price range one in 45acp priced $275-$350 would sell strong not many good 45acp pistols in that price range.

Was just playing with photo-shop. Although if Smith & Wesson decided to make this gun I would buy it. You will note I decide my version did not need front serrations or a rail lug.

I say they should just leave it alone. Its already a good concealment size with enough ammo to do the job.
