How and where do you carry a spare mag?

Mag lines up in the small of my back and the Berreta Nano BU9 rests at 5 o'clock. That way my free hand can easily access the mag with a quick reach.

I carry a G19 or G22 IWB in a CompTac M-TAC. I carry my spare mag IWB also in a CompTac Minotaur mag carrier. I was initially skeptical of this setup, but I've found it to be quite comfortable and concealable.

They have Hybrid holsters like Crossbreed, just much cheaper and faster delivery, I got the mag holder in about a week.

I don't carry a spare, my regular carry weapon is my 5943. I figure if i need more than 16 rounds I am in to "spray and pray" mode.

I normally carry a spare magazine in a nylon knife sheath on my weak side (left). With this method if observed it looks like I have a folding knife in a covered pouch like hundreds of others folks carry.

+1! I do the same thing & I pocket carry either my 40 Shield or M&P40c in a Desantis pocket holster.

I use a Remora....simple, inexpensive, effective. Easily slips in pocket or in waistband.

Knife sheaths are good, another trick is an eyeglass case.

I have a double belt carrier, which I slip in my left rear pocket. They stay concealed and the belt carrier keeps them upright (and lint-free). It helps that they're single-stack magazines for a .45. Magazines should be carried on your weak side, bullet end forward, for quick reloading. You don't have to switch hands with the pistol that way.

I carry in a "pancake style" OWB mag carrier that I make (i own a kydex company) I think its important to carry a spare mag where it can be accessed quickly in order to quickly deal with reloads, double feeds, etc. Where I live in the interior of Alaska if someone see's it they just assume its a flashlight or leatherman, or magazine LOL People don't freak out about guns to much up here. (its getting worse slowly though)

That is how I normally carry my extra mag. I use a Desantis Mag Packer to keep it in though.

I've got my Glock 23 on now in the Glock Sport/Combat holster that is OWB. They also make a single OWB mag pouch for it and sometimes I carry that.
Right now I have a double Fobus mag holder on the off-side. I'm going out at about midnight and am wearing a sweatshirt. You may be wondering why I have 44 rounds of .40 S&W on my person. Well, you see, I watched Die Hard again last night. 'Nuff said.
