Howdy! I've used this forum for a reference in the past, but only joined, recently...
A little background, I was an armorer as one of my many side-duties years ago during my days in the U.S. Army, which sparked my interest in the mechanical ins-and-outs of various issued small arms, but my love, respect and interest in firearms I would have to credit to my paternal grandfather, who taught me about shooting and, more importantly, respecting firearms....
Fast forward to today, and my interest has branched into a brand I had heard of (Smith and Wesson, of course), but I had no practical experience handling or shooting. At the moment, I have only two examples I can share, a Model 13-2 and a Model 639, but I hope to learn much more about them from this forum. All I know is that a person NEVER stops learning....
Also, I have an interest in holsters/gear, and probably have too large an interest in collecting the same....
Anyway, here are two of the reasons I joined, pictured below....
