I just bought a thousand this morning at the Lehi, UT Cabelas and they were $24.95! I guess your store has a sale on that isn't company wide.
I loaded a few tonight for testing at a future date, so I cannot remark on how they work, but I have noticed a couple of details that I find useful/helpful!
First, the anvil does not stand above the cup edge, when you feel the primer bottom in the pocket it is below flush and isn't going any farther!
Second, the junction of the sidewall and face of the primer is nearly sharp-edged. I use the old Lee hand primer, you know the one that constantly allows primers to turn on edge? In seating 200 of the S&B SP primers in 9mm and .38 Spl. cases I did not have a single stoppage as with all other brands I have used in this tool.
The above noted remark credited to John Barsness about S&B primer accuracy for benchrest is definitely encouraging!
