I carry either a 64-4 2 in snubby or a 442, both in an OWB holster with shirt-tail out. That's my typical summer carry, for winter I carry a SA commander size Champion 1911 type .45acp in an OWB under a jacket or coat. If I'm in the outback, I carry a 624 LH .44 Spl OWB, not concerned with concealment.

Here's my usual rig for the last 30 years or so. I now carry 2 speed strips since the ISIS thing started.

That is a old school, Hard core gun slinging dude. Good to see the revolvers still around

Just curious

As I am not a pistol person and am just getting into this, what does IWB and OWB stand for?

Welcome to the forum and to handguns.

The abbreviations you mentions are in reference to types of holster/weapon carry. IWB refers to "In The Waist Band" and OWB refers to "Outside The Waist Band".

I hope this helps.

IWB in the 5 o'clock position in a leather barsony. Either my Shield or my 649. Though I did just buy a new Sig Sauer P938 Sport that I'm looking forward to receiving and trying out.

My LCP is mostly carried in a pocket holster in my back pocket, it looks like a wallet, I sometimes carry it in a Desantis hybrid IWB holster which is the most comfortable option. My PARA 1911 is carried in a full leather IWB holster for CC or a Fobus paddle holster for woods carry. For my new M&P Shield I have a Galco belt holster and a Desantis hybrid IWB.

For concealed carry, I prefer OWB. I use shoulder holsters/tanker style holsters for open carry of larger handguns. I also pocket carry a NAA Pug .22 magnum.
