How hot is it by you?

Oh you lucky people....

Both Saturday and Sunday nights temp was 3degrees Celsius at 9 pm (36 f).

Yesterday (Monday) the temp didn't get above 9 Celsius (48 f) all day with a strong southerly just off the big ice flow to the south (Antartica).

I usually sleep both summer and winter with just the throw rug and maybe a blanket on, but the last few nights I've been getting right under the covers and putting off the bathroom trips as long as I can.

Only another 5 weeks to the shortest day of the year. Then Summer will be on the way.:D:D

90°F with 18% humidity, which is pretty thick for these parts. Very pleasant out of the direct sun.

Made it all the way up to a whappin' 58 today. Glad summer finally arrived. Time to bring out the sled in a couple of weeks.

Bill get "three hots and a cot" ready for me, I'm comin up there to stay with you. I think it was 89 degrees here in Cincinnati today...which is not outrageously hot for this area...it's just unusual to have these kinds of temps so early. It was 90 a few days ago. Usually we don't see these temps until after mid-July. To have them in May...means it could be a long Summer:eek:

85 F high here today in Pacifica, California.

Been colder than you'd like all last week with the humidity we never get credited for having.

55 F here will chill you to the bone.

I think we must have had a cool front blow in today. At 5:00 PM it was only 100 on our outside thermometer. That is 5-10 degrees cooler than it has been the last 6 days since I got back to the rig here by Stanton. Forecast for later this week will be in the 105-110 range for the rest of my hitch here at the rig.

It got to 88 today and humidity in the mid 40% range. A bit of a breeze kept everything pleasant for light yard work and some burgers and corn on the cob on the grill. It was a "keeper" for sure.

...after a couple of gully washer thunderstorms...small hail covering the ground...and temp down to 42 (hey...that's still ten above freezing)...

...it is clearing nicely here at sunset...back up to 48...

It hit 100 here today, eclipsing the old record of 98 set in the dust-bowl of 1934. Five weeks ago we had more than 12" of snow on the ground. It was a very late spring for a week and now it's summer!

53 here this morning.

73 this morning and it's not yet 5am. A bit muggy outside after the little bit of a storm we had pass us. Grandson wants to go shooting today, that always makes a good day.
