How is the long gun line doing this time?

Does anyone have any idea if the long gun line is doing well enough to survive this time around? It seems like the shotguns and rifles are nice products, but I wish they offered some rifles with shorter barrels and some shotguns designed for defense.

Anyone have any thoughts?

When I have been out and about looking at other rifles and pistols, I ask about the S&W M&P15 (I have the M&P15T) a couple of the shops or retailers say "ya we had a couple but they always sell out, we have this bushmaster, SIG, another brand (or nothing at all) if you want to check them out" They claim that they cant keep enough S&W M&P15's in stock for people asking for them.

I dont blame them. I love mine and get compliments all the time at the range of how well the rifle is put together and performs.

One shop had a Magpul edition that flew out the door the day he got it in!
