How long will my gun be gone?

In Feb-March I sent a BG38 back twice. The first time it took two weeks to get it back... The second time they kept it and sent me a replacement. It took over a week for the replacement to get here.

I shipped a 1984 Model 60 back on 16 April to get the hammer stud replaced. We'll see how long it takes to fix/turn it around when the repair is on my dime.

I haven't got mine back yet. Sent it in 2-3 weeks back.

It has been 4 weeks since I received said letter. Which means they got it almost 5 weeks back. I am going to have to call tomorrow.

Whew... Called today, and good thing I did.... They are replacing my no longer produced revolver. The guy couldn't tell me WHAT they were replacing it with, other than its the same caliber. Never bothered to call, etc. They were just going to send it to where it was originally purchased, not to ME, or even call me to let me know what they were doing. Sheesh. Amateur hour.

Just got my 581 back from doing the "M" recall.. took maybe 3 weeks round trip. I figured by sending it back to SW they would take good care of it... NOT!!! The gun came back all fingerprinted and the original grips on the gun now have handling marks... GEEZZZZ I just figured they would handle the gun with care. (At least wipe off the fingerprints before shipping it) If I ever have to send them another gun I'll make sure and send it with crappy grips and not the original grips for them to beat up. I put in a call to a Customer Service Manager.. we'll see if they call back.
