How many lbs in the pipe

My trigger was great right out of the box - no need to change what works IMHO. ALWAYS one in the chamber . . . in a SD situation, seconds count as does your ability to react in the proper manner.

Thank you all to answered the question about their setup. Not sure why everyone else questioned what I do.

Because the question about carrying with a round in the chamber comes up frequently and everyone has to make sure they tell everyone else what to do. My feeling is that everyone has to make their own decision because ultimately everyone has to be responsible for that position if the worst case scenario happens. (you also notice a lot of members who have very strange senses of humor, myself included). Take everything said with a grain of salt and a smile. :D

Just FYI, my IA forbids any trigger mods on CC weapons. Perhaps you should check with yours.

From the Sheriff's website regarding CCW:

"The alteration of any previously approved firearm including, but not limited to, adjusting the trigger pull or making other modifications that create an unsafe weapon (Penal Code §31910) shall void any license and serve as grounds for revocation."

Carry how you feel most comfortable.

^ It has to "create an unsafe weapon" from your quote. Not every mod will create one, but most of mine are factory or close. Apex duty kits, for example, are well accepted as being a sound choice for those platforms for which it is available. Smooth is more important than light, although I would not advocate doing anything that makes for a heavier trigger, as that can negatively impact precision.

Loaded chamber? As noted, that comes up regularly. Anyone who will not carry withy a loaded chamber is not well enough trained to be armed and needs to get training or sell their firearms.
