Ohio and Pa. After my 3rd renewal of Pa expires next year , Ohio only.
Well, when I retired from LEO, LEOSA had not become law yet, so I obtained my WV permit. Now it is good in almost 40 states. But before WV had reciprocity with GA and AL, I obtained a FL permit so I could pass through those two states. Also, now that there is LEOSA, I qualify annually, and the State has issued me a retired LEO ID, and the local PD certifies me each year. So, I'm sort of belt and suspenders guy. LEOSA should be all I need, but in case I run into someone who is not familiar with it, I am covered with my two state permits. I think that WV now covers all the states that FL does, so I could let that one expire.
Also, here in WV as of 4 days from now, anyone who can legally own a handgun can carry without a permit. Copied AZ's law.

I'm a LEOSA-qualified carry guy, also. This authorizes me to carry concealed in all 50 states. A holder of a "retired" credential", I qualify annually with a local police department.
Texas. Why do I need others? Any state that won't honor it is not worth visiting. I'll spend my money is states that do. I guess I do have to go to California on rare occasions, but try to avoid it as much as possible. Anti gun states and. gun free zones are a criminals best friend. Maybe one day they will realize that. But I doubt it, they will just blame it on something else.

Guys, what's with all the LEOSA comments? The question was about permits, not LEOSA. It's not like anyone can just go out and get LEOSA.
LEOSA is a sore subject to some in the "gunning" community. It's really not necessary to bring it up any chance one gets. Have some sensitivity.
Before anyone assumes, it's not sour grapes; I've got one up on LEOSA as long as I'm still OTJ.

One, LEOSA, good in all 50 states. Pain to have to qualify yearly though. I may get a Michigan CHL this year.

Just in case you are not aware, its LEOSA that allows retirees and those still On The Job to carry in all fifty states. Prior to LEOSA states like New Jersey and New York didn't give a hoot where you were a cop if it wasn't in their state.

I'm well aware, thanks. Just as you should be well aware, LEOSA doesn't apply to anyone that wasn't / isn't OTJ, so it's continued discussion is a moot point, especially with non-LEO's asking about CCWs.
It would be like me entering every flying with a gun conversation by leading off, well I just tin them, carry it on and usually get upgraded (not anymore) to first class....completely immaterial to everyone else...

MN. resident FL. non resident. thinking Utah, should cover any state I will go to. otherwise I go around them. Dont need to go to Colorado, texas, NM. And definitely not Kalifornia
Probably should be a sore subject. But the guys who use it are not a sore subject. All the people I care about are behind you, particularly those of you who post here. Don't worry about hurt feelings - maybe there aren't any.

South Carolina only accepts permits if you own land in SC.
Sorry I stand corrected looks like they recently posted reciprocity SC ccw website as of last year showed different.
