How many Shields are there?

I have a Shield 1.0 9mm with CT Laser and other mods...For a single stack gun for CC purposes it's an awesome gun!
It's an excellent choice! I have 2, an older 9 and a 45 I picked up shortly after they came out. The word that comes to mind, especially with the 45 and its 2.0 trigger, is "flawless." It functions as well as my 3913, which IMO really is the gold standard for compact pistols. There are plenty of reviews out there that go into all the technical details, so I won't try to re-do all that. I'll just say I have zero regrets for buying and 100% confidence in mine.
Yes...it hits the mark plus it rides very nicely. I have had zero issues with any of mine or my wife's.

I have owned a Shield 9 and a 40 and I carry a 45. Got talked out of the 9 and 40 some time back, never had a lick of trouble with either of them. I love the grips on the 45 when shooting but they are a little rough on the skin for carry without an undershirt, with one, no problem.

None of the several I have and do own have ever rusted out. Can't imagine why? Maybe it's because they have all lived in single and very low digit humidity and very little snow or ice that results in salt on the roadways. Plus an average rainfall of between 10 and 15 inches a year. Yep, that's probably why!
BTW, none of my Shields have ever rusted either, and yes, I do like them very much!
