I've been on Bud's list for a Shield for a long, long time and still waiting. Did they notify you that the had LE Shields in stock? Can you offer to prepay to get a better chance of being notified?

No email came! I don't know why. I saw it posted when I logged on here and immediately bought one. I was so fast I actually had paid already then backed up to make sure I bought the right gun! :D

They had them for about 90 minutes.

Mine is arriving tomorrow!

ETA: See this post: The times are off a bit I think because of where each poster lives, from start to sell out wasn't two hours.... http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-pistols/281845-buds-police-has-shield-9s-stock.html

$114.00 including backround check. Oh, I had gift cards!
It was $399.00 plus tax. They sell 'em as fast as they get them at Mahoney's in Johnson City, TN.

Man you cannot find a Shield anywhere within 50 miles of the Austin, Texas area. As soon as a store gets one it is gone in 10-20 minutes.

10 Dec at Bud's Police Supply...

$004 Insurance - refund/replace for lost/damaged
$020 Local FFL fee

$449 from a dealer at a gun show. I can't believe It was out on the table for 2 hours before I saw it and snatched it up.

Paid 479 + tax here in New York. I was disappointed with the price, but what can you do when that's the only shop that has it...

Are these particular guns "LE" guns to only be sold to cops, or is he selling these Shields at $10 over his cost? The reason I ask, is all the stores pay $325 for a Shield. However, if the gun is to be sold to "LE" then there is no excise tax on the particular gun, & the store pays about $100 less for the gun. That's how Glock handles LE guns, & the label on the box is blue, not pink, to identify the gun as "LE". So if Bud's is selling Shields for $335 to non LE, then they are only making $10 per gun. Nice guy! GARY

$499 plus tax at LGS. Only other store in town wanted $550. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but if it is half as good as its reviews I'll be happy.

$400 OTD from my second favorite pawn shop. ;) I just never know what they're gonna have. Lucky for me I stopped by today! :p
