How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

yes MSRP of the shield is $449, but the OP I quoted said he paid $449 for it plus he traded his R51 for it (which has a MSRP of $400).

no, the lgs had it listed for $449 but I traded a barely used R51 for it, paid a difference of around $170. sorry, should of been more clear. Actually the msrp of the R51 is $419 but originally paid $350. Despite the great price I paid for the R51 new I still took a $50 hit, but the difference between the two guns is night and day so I didn't hesitate on the trade.

I paid exactly what the only lgs that had one in stock wanted, and I was willing to pay for a gun I waited 18 months for.
gotcha. I was hoping that the case and it wasn't 449 + the trade. Seems like some people are still having trouble locating these.
I have seen quite a few good online deals that are meeting or slightly beating what I got mine for in November.

$434 out the door brand new at my preferred local gun shop.
I was in another store the same day prior to buying it and they wanted $499 + tax = $534 which I thought was a little high thats why I am sticking to my preferred store for now on.

I have seen them advertised a couple of times locally in either 9mm or 40cal for $399.99 plus sales tax.

$424 from GB, included gun, ship, ffl. Locally they are about $400, plus usual fees.

Just got a 40 cal for $351
You guys are making me sick. I paid 350.00 for a used one that had no manual, box, and two 7 round mags, when I finally figured how to take off the slide it seemed to never had been cleaned but shot a lot, I know that's my fault. The guy had bought two, one for himself and his wife, well the wife didn't like the Shield so he traded for a new Glock 380. What he did is kept her unused Shield and the two 8 round mags for himself, I probably would have done the same. But a dirty weapon made me sick, if I fire one round the gun gets cleaned. Congratulations to you guys that bought cheap but most important NEW.
