How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

My first Shield 9mm in November 2013 - $399 + Tax

My second Shield 9mm in January 2015 - $299 + Tax
 
If you want a good price on a gun, look up the Outdoor Superstore online. You people paid too much.
 
How much did I pay for my Shield?

I just bought my 9mm Shield at a LGS last weekend for $379.95 plus state tax. Most of the dealers were asking $399.95 and some were as high as $459.95.

a lot of your arent mentioning if you have thumb safety or not. i noticed the thumb safety ones were on sale locally for 360 or so but the newer non safety models were 399 everywhere
got mine without safety 421 out the door.
 
I just saw an online ad Monday for a store named "Colt" something. The 9mm Shield was listed for $339.00 - safety or no safety.
 
just paid $339.00 + Tax at my LGS. If there are any warranty issues they will ship it to S&W for me
 
Cousin just paid 389 (including tax) for his...

I need to wait for the next gun show and get one... regret passing on it when they first came out.
 
I hate to admit it but yesterday I paid $449 which is straight MSRP :( that's what they're going for locally. One LGS has them for $499! I was going to get one from GB but since I was already at the shop transferring a Model 49 I just went ahead and bought it. Oh well I don't mind supporting my FFL, I would've only saved about $40 if I went the GB route after transfer and fees.
 
I have to LGS where I am. . . one 15 miles away and one 22 miles away . . other than that, not much. I called both yesterday as I am looking at picking up a 9mm Shield this next week. The shop that is 15 miles away is a firm $439.00 = 6% sales tax. The LGS 20 miles away quoted a price of $399.99 + 6% sales tax. So . . . it looks like I'll be paying a total of $423.99 OTD. I looked on-line - yes - some cheaper but not so once you py the shipping and transfer fees and having to wait for the shipping, etc.

When I was looking online like you said add in shipping and FFL fees and the savings not much , Plus the wait :O My LGS was 389$ a week ago and for some reason they were on sale along with some Glocks, Glad I waited I am happy with the $339 I paid :) But most of the deals I have seen posted are all pretty good, Worth the extra $$$ if you want it :) MY advantage I found out at my LGS was if I need warranty work they will ship it out for me :)
 
I bought mine 1/11/2015 for $368.00 OTD at a gunshow from my favorite high-volume discount dealer.
