Here in Belleville, IL. we have a great LGS&R, They offered the 9mm Shield model #10035 (no safety) for 399.99. If you apply for membership, $200. annual fee, you get the $200. discounted from the price of the gun. My membership was about to expire (5/31/15) anyway, so I went ahead and paid the $200 for membership and got the gun for $199.99

419 plus tax. The range I go to had a deal where they gave you $100 off an annual membership if you bought a gun, so I bought the shield. So far so good. Haven't shot it but took it apart and learned a good bit.

Hope there's no AZ sales tax as it wasn't sold here.

I don't have a Shield, but several weeks ago an LGS had them on sale for something like $350 or so. Them and .40 M&Ps. Had the things stacked up in boxes in the display case. I think they sold quite a few.
