How much does a S&W 66-2 from the 1980's sell for?

Hmm, sounds like an idea. I still plan on tinkering with it a bit since the cylinder has issues coming out when the cylinder is in some positions. Might as well keep a piece of history, but what separates an old 1980's model from newer ones.

The older models are twice as good as new production. Back in the day s&w had more employees that took pride in their work, and the QC was great. Today, they kick out many duds.

What do you mean by some positions?
At lock up or in between?

If it’s on certain cylinders then I would check to see if the extractor rod is bent.
