442 in front pocket. If I am going someplace that the 442 can't go due to wardrobe, etc..my Seecamp rides in a wallet holster in my back pocket (fits in every pair of pants or shorts I own).

Around town I frequently forget to carry, and don't feel threatened one bit. Yeah, I know, anything can happen at any time.
Truthfully, the biggest crime around here are DWI and speeders doing 32 in a 30.
When I travel anywhere else but local, my 649-3 comes with me.

But not all of us wear a Fedora, drive a Cadillac, eat pasta and listen to Opera everyday.

Everywhere I can legally, but sometimes I forget & walk into a place where I shouldn't be carrying:Got to watch that! Mowing the lawn, yes. Any time I'm outdoors, really. There were times in the past when I wondered if I might be getting paranoid, but not any more. I keep one within arms reach at all times because of an attempted home invasion a couple of years ago. Like the hackneyed, worn out, trite old statement says:Better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it! Too true!

I carry all the time, in any place that is legal. Unfortunately we can not carry in church, in Texas, if we are a part of the Church Security. For that reason I am going to drop my name from the security list. 75 to 100% of the time.
Sigsite, I hope this is good news for you:)
Unless your church specifically prohibits carrying, TEXAS LAW DOES NOT restrict your right to carry in a place of worship.
I refer to: page 39 of the Texas Concealed Handgun Laws 2011 2012.
"double amendments to: Subsections (b)(4),(b)(5),(b)(6) and (c) if the actor is NOT GIVEN NOTICE UNDER Sec. 30.06"

http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/InternetForms/Forms/CHL-16.pdf

This means that unless your church specifically posts 30.06 signage, the concealed carry licensee can carry his or her concealed weapon.
Also refers to hospitals, amusement parks and government entity meetings, unless correct 30.06 signage is in place.

How that would change, if the licensee is a member of"church security" I cannot fathom, particularly if the individual is LEO.

Every day when I get dressed I add a handgun to the outfit.

I see no reason to go anywhere unarmed. I have absolutely no idea which restaurant I might have lunch in where some nut case decides to shoot his wife/ex-wife/girl friend/etc.

I will NOT be a victim!

Chances are I will NEVER have a need to use a firearm for self defense but I'd sure feel stupid dying because I was too busy to take one with me.

Years ago I used to pick and choose where and when I should carry.
Not any more. Now I don't see any reason to ever choose to be
unarmed.

Anywhere and anytime I legally can. Pretty much all day everyday.

All the time
Point 'em out - Knock 'em out
Look it up
Not gonna' happen to me or mine
'Nuff said

My little S&W 649 packs way to easily. The last time and the only time since acquiring my CC permit that I left the house unarmed was when I left for the airport to vacation in Europe.

I ran several errands today and didn't bring my sidearm along.

Since 1990 I have been one of those now and then men.
But I always do have my Four Way Cross medal on.:)

Post Office is my bane

Needing to go inside the post office is really the only reason I ever have for not carrying all the time.

I carry wherever its legal. Chances are I'll never need it, but then again you don't win much being a victim.

When I first got my permit I decided that I was either always going to carry or I was never going to carry. I have decided that I will carry in every place I am legally allowed to do so.

A couple of weeks ago I went to a gathering of the security team for my church, you would think if anyone is going to be armed it would be them right? Nope there were maybe three people there who were armed. It surprises me to run into "gun" people that only carry when they "think they might need it" or only when they're out after dark or some other such rationale.

My question is excepting places where you may not legally carry a firearm what percentage of the time do you carry?

I put down 25-50% because I spend alot of time where I can not legally carry. I'd prefer this wasn't the case, but what can I say? College is important. If I know I'm going somewhere where I can't, or if I'm going out to the bars, I don't. Otherwise my best friend is with me.
