Hello all,

Just came across this article By ADAM EISGRAU
Published: January 2, 2013

It is addressing the current AWB proposal from we know who, and what was passed back in the Clinton era. I Do feel like that with the ways things are going in this day and age of insta news and all the social meda **** (yes I am not a fan of it all guess I'm heading into old fartdom sooner than expected) It really makes me wonder with the ways things are now in relation to that, if they will in fact have a easier time passing another one of these bans? I would hope that those of us who are in favor of keeping things "Status Quo" who have a easier time of voicing our opinions now than we as a majority did back in '94. I am kinda curious to see what you all really think .... outside of the 1st response of they can all KMA....type of answers. As much I hate to admit this I think we will have a tougher time of it this go around and it just make me wonder espically after reading the article posted below, that what was passed back in the day, with less media exposure than what we have today, and with less frequent random acts of violence in such a short span of time.

Again I am in no way saying I am for ANY BANS in ANY FORM!!

Great article into their thinking. So, my home is broken into, the burglar and I have a shoot out, and I am wounded and unable to fire back, but my wife picks up my secure fingerprint only gun and she too is gun downed by some freak that forgot to buy One of these high tech only the owner can fire guns, well at least the previous owner was able to call my background check into the FBI.

Yeah I agree it kinda gave a little insight into the thought process of those with clouded judgements...I still have a hard time understanding how so many people can get such a simple thing as gun ownership and our 2nd admendment rights so twisted about. I just dont see how they can honestly sit there and believe that imposing bans on the law abiding folks of this country, is in anyway going to thwart the actions of those who would illegal obtain and use firearms of any kind. I Know it's preachin' to the choir....but even when I was young and dumb well younger an dumber than I am now...I could comprehend that criminals dont abide by the law, and are not going to be going to a LGS, or Big Box retailer to try and buy a firearm to use illegally.....Ok Imma gonna put the soapbox back under the desk....before this turns into a pure rant!!
