Just a quick intro... This is my FIRST wheel gun. I've been a 1911 nut (some might say snob) for too many years. I've gone through a lot of different semi's (to complement my 1911) and usually got rid of them within a year or so. This time I thought that I would step outside of the box and get a revolver. Having just acquired a Rossi M92 in .357 I figured that I'd look for something in that caliber.
So there I was helping a friend shop for a little .380 pocket gun (pea shooter) when I wandered over to the part of the store that had a selection of wheel guns. Before you could bat an eye I had this used 66-1 (4" barrel) in my hand. The damned thing just felt right... Just like my 1911's! It's used and wears it well. There have been a few mods performed on it. The trigger pull is sweet especially when compared to a new piece. Needless to say the beastie followed me home. Something tells me that this will be a keeper and a hoot to shoot. Gonna take the S&W and Rossi to the range tomorrow and burn up a few boxes of ammo.
Here's a few pics...
