Just signed up and wanted to say hey. I've lurked here a few times and decided that I ought to go ahead and join.

I'm new to this forum but not to firearms. In fact, amongst my "collection", I already own three S&W firearms - a M&P 15, a M&P 15-22 and a 5.5" 22A pistol.

The main reason that I picked now to join is that I'll soon have my CHL and I'm shopping for a pocket-sized carry pistol. I've narrowed my choices down to a Ruger LC9, a Springfield Armory XDs in 9MM or the Smith M&P Shield in 9MM. I'm leaning towards the M&P Shield and wanted to be able to see what other S&W Forum members are doing.
