How's your ammo?

-We are good on 9mm, 357Sig, and 45ACP for the little guys.
-Plenty of 12 gauge 00 buckshot for the blunderbusses.
-OK on 5.56 and 308.
-I have a few buckets of sized, primed, and trimmed 5.56 and 308 brass ready to load...I have everything except Bullets for both.

Need to buy a LOT of bullets, but cannot afford it right now because my wife spent so much on Toilet Paper, Hand Sanitizer, and Pasta.:D

Fortunately, I’m quite sure there won’t be any Zombie Apocalypse...things will return to normal by Summer. Just a lot of knee jerk reactions...

Target Sports USA Customer,

**Please expect 10-day shipping delay on all orders due to the increase demand.**

We are doing everything we can to ship your order as soon as possible including: implementing a second shift, hiring additional employees and offering overtime to our office staff to keep up with compliance requirements and any customer inquiries. Please note even with these changes, we also have a huge increase in customer email & phone call volume so please bear with us for any delays in response. You can check your order status online at Target Sports USA - Free Shipping On Bulk Ammo & All Firearms under My Account.

We are also working closely with all manufacturers to keep products in stock at competitive pricing. Unfortunately, we have been informed that all manufacturers are now shipping product at an increased cost, due to demand. We are doing everything we can to mitigate these costs for our customers while trying to keep as much inventory as we can in stock.

We are thankful for our Prime Members and customers for their patience and understanding during this time! We are doing everything we can to navigate during these difficult times.

Stay Safe!

Sincerely,
Target Sports USA Team

I had better luck. After posting about my ammo situation, I thought I would check the usual bazaars and snagged some 45 ACP, the last 250 at that establishment. Go on, call me that guy.;)

I have enough,

but I never have enough.. so I am always adding. Last week my order from Targetsports got stuck about 40 miles from my home. Hmmmm... UPS is now doing an investigation and if someone dressed in brown swiped it I'm sure they are now wondering what to do with a case of .30 Luger

My Grandpa and his brother told me about an uncle they had that really like too hunt. Uncle got mad at the local store owner over his prices. Uncle said everything in the store was priced too high and he wasn't buying anything else from that store except what he had to have. Powder and shot. I think uncle had his priorities in order. Larry

Just a heads up; all but one of my distributors are completely out of 9mm and 5.56mm ammo. Ohers are getting low as well, especially .40 and .45.

Hold on to what you got, buy what you can.

Distributors have not raised prices from what I could see, so beware the apocalyptic price gougers...

This afternoon my boss asked if he could buy a box of 9mm from me. I’m being nice and throwing in 17 rounds (he owns an M&P so enough for one mag) of JHP along with a box of FMJ.

My ammo supply is heathy. I learned from the last crash/crisis.
Most of what I have is left over from the financial crisis of 2000 whatever when we were all supposed to die or go live in caves for the rest of our days.
Have been buying powder and other supplies when they are offered from private parties at good prices.
Only thing I may be short on is 28 gauge, but I dont see a run on that coming anytime soon.

I’m in good shape ammo wise, enough for a few years at any rate. My order from SG Ammo (.357 & .303) should be here by the end of the week. I picked up a few cases of .38 & .45 locally last week. When I was putting those away I found a bunch of .38 and .45 I didn’t realize I had. After 2013 I made sure to buy a little more than I shot each year. It adds up.

I will trade ammo for toilet paper. Paper must be new.

I have some very, very gently used paper for some .357...

Hey, I figured out how to use quotes! Bonus!

I think that I have an adequate supply of loaded ammo on hand. Most of mine is reloads. I did place an order for 12 lbs of powder and 3 boxes of Fiocchi primers today though. Looks like reloading supplies are going fast too; I guess there's a lot of people scared of the zombie apocalypse or something of that nature.

I found some 380 range and HD ammo and my daughter ordered it for her new Performance Center EZ. Supposed to arrive by the 31st. Hope that it does. I wish that I could just find a wee bit of reason for me to buy a 9mm EZ. Maybe the easy to work slide would be enough. I will think on it.

With the way people are buying ammo right now i really wish i had kept the guns i had in calibers like 10mm and 357 sig. but NOOO i thought i needed to consolidate to 9mm, i have enough for several months worth but was hoping to go to the now cancelled big spring gun show and get a few more boxes of 124 grain HST. Oh well i will just refrain from using up carry ammo at the range.

Last year I bought all of the guns and ammo I thought I’d need for this year. I looked for good deals, sales. Gunbroker had a bunch of good deals on Sig P239’s because they were discontinued. Then in Jan/Feb I got good deals on some Trijicon MRO’S and a Vortex Scope. The market was down and prices were good.

I thought there might be a political crisis...never saw this one coming...

How's your ammo?
High and dry and stacked to the sky! :D

Being as old and decrepit as I am, I figure I had about three times a lifetime supply of ammo before the great Walmart "evil ammo" selloff sale. :) After the great Walmart "evil ammo" selloff sale, which I couldn't resist, I think I am up to a four lifetimes supply. :D

That assumes, of course, that I don't fall victim to the crazy coronavirus thang.

And yet what does the good wife ask me when I got home last night from my weekly elderly mother care duties?

"Did you stop at (name of favorite local shop) and pick-up some ammo"? :p :D

Ahhh, no dear. No, I didn't. :p
