...Hunting with Sophia...

My first memory of Sophia Loren is a picture of her from a 1957 movie, Boy on a Dolphin, in which she plays a Greek sponge diver.

Never saw the movie, but the still, in which she has just emerged from the water, republished in Playboy in the mid 60s, made quite an impression on adolescent me.

Don't think I ever recovered from the sight....

Fond memories.

You can You Tube it. Take your heart medicine first!:D

I remember the poster of Sophia coming out of the Mediterranean at a local National Record Mart. I was probably in my early teens. My eyeballs about popped out of my head.

you would still be looking for your eyes today if you had watched, as I did in my teens, "Age Of Consent" featuring an 18 year old Helen Mirren.:D

I was a little too young to see that when it came out. Not that it would have interested me, outside of Ms. Mirren.
I think the first role I saw her in was as Morgana in Excalibur.
Still one of my favorite movies.
